The service

Egret helps you turn a website into a trial-drip program. You save a site URL, install the Egret Stripe App from the Stripe Marketplace, and connect your own AI client over MCP. Egret does not run a product LLM. You pay $39 per month for 5,000 emails. Sends stop at the cap.

Stripe App

Installing the Egret Stripe App grants the permissions listed in the Marketplace listing (including secret storage and read access to events, subscriptions, customers, and invoices). You must install on the Stripe account that owns your trials. Connect platforms cannot publish or use this listing.

Email and CAN-SPAM

You are the sender of mail that goes out through Egret. You must have a lawful basis to email each recipient, include a physical postal address, and honor unsubscribe requests within 10 business days. Do not use Egret to send unsolicited commercial email.

MCP

API keys and install snippets are yours to protect. Activity performed through MCP is treated as your activity. We may revoke keys that abuse the service.

Billing

Subscriptions are billed by Stripe Checkout and managed in the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancel anytime; access continues through the paid period. No refunds for partial months unless required by law.

Limitation

The service is provided as-is. Our liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the prior three months. Contact ryan@seaotter.dev.
